What are your hobbies, interests and passions?
I love to shoot, but even without a camera, I'm always trying to frame a subject in my head and more importantly my favorite thing to do is 'swim'. I don't know how to swim, but I love jumping into the middle of the ocean.
What does your typical day look like?
A little meditation upon waking, coffee after. Then I jump into my day with full fury and a 'glass is half full' attitude.
What motivates you?
Looking at visual impactful stories that are thoughtful in presentation. Stories that think outside the box and make me say 'Wow". I love photography, illustrations and a good game of scrabble to teach me new words!
What is the best advice you were given when starting your business?
Respect everyone. No job is ever too small or too big. I live by this.
What is your definition of success?
It's about loving your life and what you do.
What do you want to achieve in the upcoming year personally & professionally ?
I'd like to learn how to swim! Professionally, I'd like to master Data Visualization.
How do you want to use you're strength to give back to the community?
I often do panels / talks to students, photographers so that i can share what I know to push them forward.
What is the biggest challenge you have in your business?
Leaving my comfort zone to learn something new.
Why did you decide to
join The Emery?
I wanted a place where women feel comfortable, thrive off each other and collaborate without the intricacies and complexities that come with males being present.
